TEP Technica stocks a wide range of thermoplastic polypropylene wheels and castors. You can buy polypropylene wheels as wheels only or as complete assemblies from our castor shop. Polypropylene is a very good material to be used as the tread and/or hub centre. Wheels and wheel centres made of polypropylene are fracture resistant, vibration and noise dampening, high load capacity and low cost when compared to similar materials.
Polypropylene wheels are resistant to various greases and oils and suitable for applications with a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. Polypropylene wheels are typically less expensive than nylon wheels and only have marginally less superior characteristics. Keywords: polypropylene wheels, polypropylene load wheels, polypropylene drive wheels.
