TYPES OF PALLET TRUCK

TYPES OF PALLET TRUCK WHEELS
STEER WHEELS FOR HAND PALLET TRUCKS
Steer wheels typically come in three main materials, Nylon, Rubber or Polyurethane. TEP Technica stock all common steer wheel sizes in a range of different materials, to ensure we can supply the correct fit regardless of your application.
It is generally recommended to replace both steer wheels on a pallet truck at the same time, as worn wheels have a reduced diameter. Using one new wheel alongside an old one can cause the pallet truck to tilt, especially on uneven surfaces like those found outdoors, which may lead to shifting loads. For safety reasons, we advise replacing both wheels together to ensure stability.
DRIVE WHEELS FOR SEMI-POWERED PALLET TRUCKS
Available from all major forklift truck manufacturers, the semi-electric pallet truck is between a standard hand pallet truck and a fully electric model. ROLLERS FOR PALLET TRUCKS
TEP Technica Ltd stock thousands of pallet rollers in many different sizes and materials. These rollers are typically used as front load wheels on the forks of pallet trucks.
Hand pallet trucks will use a combination of two (single) or four (tandem) pallet rollers on the front two forks. Pallet rollers are often travelling over uneven surfaces and must be of high quality to sustain the regular impact damage common in these applications.
